“Best time to visit is at low tide when the beach is vast and you can walk out to the islands. Mind the tide so you do not get stuck out there. It’s my favorite beach to run. At low tide you can start at the Fort and do a 6-8 mile out and back all the way down to Morse River.”

“I LOVE having breakfast here. If you are up to something else in Bath (yoga, beaches, Maritime museum) you should start at Mae's . I almost always get the same thing, but one day a friend meeting me was late and I had a chance to read the entire menu and I was pretty amazed. In their own words: We offer an amazing array of baked goods, GLUTEN FREE AND PALEO treats and fresh baked Cinnamon Swirl Bread! Our menu can easily be modified to accommodate gluten free, vegetarian and Paleo diets! They have been written up a lot in the press, most notably for their blueberry pie in Down East Magazine. I've only been there for breakfast but I"m dying to try their crab bLt... ”
