Very scenic and secluded. It is not uncommon to see sea lions and dolphins. From the El Pescador Beach parking lot you will hike down a trail to reach the beach. It is a strenuous hike up to the parking lot but well worth the scenery and seclusion. $8 fee so pay the machine cause they do check and tickets are expensive! Parking for 15 cars or so and 1 Outhouse. 3 minute walk to sand. Bring in water and snacks, or picnic. There are no amenities here.

El Pescador Beach is the westernmost of three south-facing pocket beaches in Robert Meyer Memorial State Beach. There is a separate parking lot for each of these three beaches on the bluff next to Pacific Coast Highway in Western Malibu. From the El Pescador Beach parking lot you will hike down a trail to reach the beach. It’s the shortest hiking access of the three state beaches. This is a pleasant sandy cove with rocky areas and tide pools at both ends. If you walk west around the rocks (best at low tide), you’ll eventually find a secret county beach called El Sol Beach which doesn’t have it’s own access yet. In the other direction (east) it’s not a long walk to La Piedra State Beach. Another popular state park, Point Dume, is visible in the distance from El Pescador Beach.
