This is my all time favorite hike. It never gets old. You will not be sorry for the amazing views of the mouth of the salmon river leading into the ocean. During the spring make sure you have your allergy routine in check! This trail is well maintained.

Wonderful hike that goes to the forest and ends up on the top of Cascade Head, overlooking the three rocks in the ocean.

Lush old-growth forest, sweeping coastal views and headland-top meadows make this Nature Conservancy Trail a premier hike on the Oregon Coast.

This trail is less crowded than the other two popular trails in the area – it is entirely inland and has no viewpoints. Mid-way on the trail near the headwaters of Calkins Creek there remains a grove of six-foot diameter Sitka spruce. Trail has a forested backdrop with large Sitka spruce, Western hemlock, Douglas fir and Red alder.
