A lovely, traditional Welsh-stone terraced cottage - called Maesyffynon - combines modern, boutique facilities with original 19th century features. The property is superbly located in the delightful town of Dolgellau, situated between the mountains and the sea. Dolgellau sits in the south of Snowdonia National Park, in the shadow of the Cader Idris mountain range but, at the same time, is just 8 miles from the sea . Great for walkers and hikers, but also for families wanting outdoor experiences.
Centre of the Snowdonia National Park with a whole host of activities. Great walks from the building, top mountain bike track, white water canoeing, fishing, outdoors space, peace and quite. Set on a hillside beside a little stream, plenty of parking. Pub in the village and 10 mins drive from Betws-y-Coed. The loft room is cosy with one pull out bed and a spare mattress. Totally self contained with shower, toilet & rustic kitchen. Good work space for bikes and canoes, desk for laptop.
“Maravillosa estancia aquí en una propiedad encantadora. Limpio y ordenado con todo lo que necesitaba. Más grande de lo que esperaba y cálido y cómodo. Los anfitriones fueron brillantes y serviciales. Definitivamente volveré a usar esto como base para más aventuras en Snowdonia.”
