This restaurant and pub is about a 10-minute drive from our home. Everything I have ordered here has been amazing. I often get the pesto quesadilla for my meal. The fries are amazing and I hear the sliders are also good.

This restaurant is about a 10-minute drive from our home. You order at the counter then seat yourself. It's very casual and kind of weird how you order items all separately. No chips and salsa available. I have to admit I was very skeptical when I first walked in and ordered. BUT, the meat is delicious. The street tacos and quesadillas are awesome!

Ever think of buying cookies from a bakery in a gas station convenience store? Neither did I. If you like big, soft cookies, plan to pick up a few or a dozen. This place is in Santa Clara--probably a 20-25 min drive from our house so I always plan a pick up when I'm doing something out that way like watching my son play baseball or hiking in Snow Canyon.

Park has a big pond with a paved walking path all around it--about .75 miles. Has a playground, grassy areas, picnic pavilions. you can fish there and take non-motorized boats/SUP on the pond. Free to park.

LOVE going to Zion! Our family's favorite hike is to Upper Emerald Pools. The more adventurous people in our family also like to hike Angels Landing--permit now required to hike it! It's a 40-45 min. drive to the main gate of Zion from our home.

There are lots of fun hikes in Snow Canyon and it's super beautiful with all the red rock! We love hiking to Scout Cave.

Such a beautiful reservoir! The bright blue water looks so cool with the red rock and sand. There is a beach side and a cliff jumping side to this lake. You can rent water vehicles here as well as ATVs for driving through the sand dunes.
