Studland Bay is owned by the National Trust, it is a great area for walking, cycling and has 2 beautiful beaches. At Knolll Beach you can hire a variety of boats and paddle boarding. You get to Studland Bay by the link ferry which is 6.6 miles from Seasalt. You cannot book in advance, it does get quite busy. The link ferry is available throughout the day, (7am to11 pm). Cars are £5 each way. Pedestrians are free one way, £1 to come back. They sail every 20 minutes. It is run by the national trust so if you have a membership card, parking is free at the beeches.

You will find 2 large play areas for children, a soft play area and pottery studio and the weather is wet. There is rockley Watersports whereby you can hire pedals, kayaks, dinghies. It is open from 1/1 to 31/12, 9 am to 5 pm.

Turn right from Seasalt onto the main road, walk up to the top of the road and turn right. You come to Ashley Cross. It has a few shops such as Co-Op supermarket, lovely flower shop and an array of restaurants and pubs.
Recommended restaurants are: Dragonfly, pan Asian restaurant (booking required); Butcher's Dog, outside pizza oven, wide selection of draft beers, relaxed atmosphere (you can take your dog); Dancing Moose, pub and restaurant. Bermuda Triangle, pub with live music on a Friday.
