It's the best. Defo go there for a meal or two whilst you're staying. Run by Italians. Superb. The Italian pastries are the best.

It's close. 12 mins drive or 2 hours walk. It's super super dooper good. Book in or you'll not get fed there. But you might get coffee/cake if you rock up unannounced.

Parks & Nature
Super quiet. Very lovely walking from the Shed to here and from the beach to Lymington on paths and tracks along the coast and then to fab places to eat out when you get there. It'll take you an hour and a half to get there.

Very typical of the area with old brick houses, the amazing Palace House and ruined monastry are fascinating walk back thru history. The church is still in good order and well used and loved. Performances here are usually excellent. The Motor Museum is perfect for families on rainy days. Good cafes locally and some nice independent shops too.

Or get the train to Lymington Pier and walk to the cottage in an hour along lanes and tracks via the beach.
