Welcome to Grandma's House

My place is close to Smoky Mountains, Helen, Tallulah Gorge, waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain lakes, hour from Atlanta, parks, great views, restaurants, art and culture. World class trout fishing just 20 minutes away, where I caught my 10 lb., 26" one! I welcome couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Popular hiking trails and waterfalls are just 3 miles away. Handicapped accessible, including shower. TV with dozens of DVD movies, no cable or satellite.

Toccoa Guesthouse.

The main home was built in 1905. The Guesthouse was designed as a true ‘in-law’ suite and was constructed in 2010. We're in the historic downtown Toccoa neighborhood where folks still sit on their front porches and greet others as they amble by on the sidewalks. You are welcome to use the rear porch and breezeway during your visit with us. You’ll find the property convenient, quiet and private with the advertised essential amenities available to make your visit pleasurable.

“on the edge” is a small, cozy, rustic, lakefront cabin with easy walk to a private dock on Lake Hartwell. Great for fishing and swimming. Public boat ramp 2 miles. Living/dining area, two bedrooms. Stay with us if you are looking for a peaceful cottage on the lake! Spend your mornings on our open air back porch enjoying freshly brewed coffee or tea. Spend your afternoons down by the lake where you will find our private swim platform dock and a couple kayaks to get you out on the water. Conveniently located 15 minutes from restaurants and groceries in Toccoa GA. *Check-in time is between 4pm and 10pm. We do not allow check-ins after 10pm*

The RV is on a 2 acre lot with access to Lake Hartwell. There are trails nearby with many different exploring options in the area. You may interact with me by cell phone or online. I can show you how to operate the propane stove and lights and answer any other questions you might have. The rv shares the same drive way with the green house. I also have kayaks available to rent, so ask me about pricing.
