Just across from the Wilmington Riverwalk Area is the battleship. You can tour and go through the ship, learning about each of it's rooms and areas along the way. Lots of steps and tight spaces, but well worth seeing! Kids love it too!

1 Battleship Rd NEJust across from the Wilmington Riverwalk Area is the battleship. You can tour and go through the ship, learning about each of it's rooms and areas along the way. Lots of steps and tight spaces, but well worth seeing! Kids love it too!
Remains of a Confederate fort with artifacts displayed in a visitor's center. There is also a monument. It's a BEAUTIFUL area, and worth driving down to see, especially in the evening.
