Rockefeller Chapel typifies the neo-Gothic architecture that the University of Chicago is famous for. As a member of the semi-professional choir at the chapel, I am obligated to point out that the musical offerings are among the best in the city. Also, don't miss the carillon tour that takes you up 271 steps to the best view in the city!

A cathedral by another name (though the stained glass is secular). Multi-denominational, with a variety of regular services, plus occasional concerts and events. There's a story that UChicago President Rockefeller visited Oxford and, upon returning to Chicago, announced "let's do religion" -- this was the result.
