A hidden local treasure - Korean food for a great price, very well cooked with amazing service, in a modest and homely environment.

Owner Soon Hee Lee (“Susie”) is a one-woman show who takes orders, serves them and buses tables, in this small, homey, neighborhood restaurant. Somehow, she also finds time to helm the wok and flattop, turning out airy pajun (Korean pancakes) slathered with a fiery jalapeño sauce, soul-satisfying bibimbap and a spicy, sweet japchae—a sautéed mix of vegetables, beef and glass noodles perfumed with ginger and hit with a touch of pancake syrup. Call or check hours online as the hours are a bit unusual and she often closes by 5pm. I personally LOVE the Bibimbap.

Vietnamese and American brunch with a Roger's Park twist. Be prepared to wait and to be charmed by this local legend and one woman production.

Tiny storefront Korean breakfast place (American eggs & pancakes, too). One elderly woman owns the place, cooks, does dishes, waits tables---everything. Have breakfast here just for the experience.
