This Hollywood hike is short but a great kick in the butt. At the top you see the Wisdom Tree, a single tree by itself. You get a great city view and can leave a note of wisdom. I like this one because it's close but not densely populated. Like you’d expect to see Russell Brand meditating under a tree, that type of situation. For some hikes in LA it can be a pain in the ass to find parking, but not this one!

The best view of all of Los Angeles on top of the Hollywood Hill overlooking the entire valley. The hike up is strenuous, but the view is worth it. You can usually find parking on Lake Hollywood Drive close to Wonder View Drive. Watch the signs, though, because there is no parking up in the neighborhood.

Amazing views at the very top! Moderate to Difficult hike due to narrowed pathways and about one mile hike all uphill- trust me it is definitely worth the effort. There is a super large American Flag at the top, with mountain ranges as your backdrop, and of course a 360 degree beautiful view of the valley and neighboring cities.

This unique trail will bring you to the only tree that survive during the fires in Hollywood hills. The tree was named after hundreds of people were sharing there life experience/wisdom at the top of the hill, under the shades of Wisdom Tree. Others were seeking to gain the knowledge of others. Also, this hike will bring you behind the World Famous Hollywood Sign.

I've been to several hiking trails in the LA area and the Wisdom Tree is at the top of my list because 1) it's a great hike 2) it's not far from major roads and 3) when you reach the top you're jaw will drop at the stunning 360 degree view of ALL of LA. Everything from downtown to the beaches to the movie studios are all visible from atop the hill (which is hundreds of feet from the Hollywood sign).
