Trails Galore--under 15 minutes away. This nearby Oregon experience is for those who like to walk, hike, and and bike. Feel the beauty of Oregon by being surrounded by thick woods that are filled with ferns and wildlife. At the bottom of our driveway, turn left to the T. Turn right onto Willamina Creek. Drive about 2.8 miles, turn left onto Coast Creek. Drive for a few miles, stay right onto Gilbert Creek for 2 or so more miles, then a right at the OHV Whipup Flat Motorcycle Trail head sign (taking you onto Bald Mountain Road--a dirt/gravel road that any car should be able to handle June-Oct or so). Drive all the way up to the top where you'll find a big parking area with trail heads everywhere you look. Find a trail and enjoy the serenity of Oregon. (Wear shoes/boots that can get dirty, and that ideally have grip). There are trails that can be done by all ages, especially the one to the far right as you drive into to the parking area. Keep pets on leashes and children with you!
