Gifted to the community in 1983 by Florence and Daphene Cobourne, the reserve is maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers. Sited on the edge of the Waikato river, the large trees and well kept gardens provide a peaceful shaded sanctuary. It is well worth a stroll through if you are in any way green fingered, and the views out across the river are fantastic.
