This catches the most of the smaller summer swell... and it is a gorgeous place to hang out. There are several surf rentals and restaurants on the beach here, and is a great all day hang out.

The Cox Bay Hike is a intermediate level short hike at the far south end of Cox Bay. You will get the most amazing view of Cox Bay from the top of this hike. Approximately 30-45 minute hike.

The most popular Surfing Beach in Tofino There are hikes on either side: Cox Cone on the South end, up the mountain, and Pettinger point on the North end to a lookout

Cox Bay is the perfect place to take in a sunset or take in a couple waves. A great spot for beginners to learn to surf! Only a 3 minute walk from our front door, so no need to fret about finding parking in the busy summer months.
