The Ferreres Aquaduct in Pont Del Diable park is an extraordinary 2000 year old Roman aquaduct, which is free to visit. It is 25m high comprising one row of arches built on top of another set of arches and stands in a landscaped park, which provides great peaceful walks. It is very beautiful and you can even walk over the top, which gives a great sense of being in touch with the varied history of this region.

This ancient Roman construction was used to bring water to the old city of tarraco, located where the old city is now, its in the middle of the forest just out of Tarragona, you can have a pleasant 40 min walk to it, have a picnic and enjoy the peace of nature.
