The Seaside Aquarium is a small privately owned aquarium. A family of harbor seals awaits you at the front entrance, which you can feed. Food may be purchased after paid admission. Inside they have 35 glass front tanks, which feature marine life found along the Oregon Coast. For the more adventurous, they have two touch tanks. Gently touch the sticky tentacles of a sea anemone or let a little hermit crab scurry around on your hand.

It's a small room with large fish tanks, but it boasts several way cool things! First, there's the largest lobster ever (who died a long time ago - but you can see him and read his story). Second, you can feed the seals. Third, there's a hands-on hermit crab/tide pool exhibit. Finally, and best of all, there's an open tank in the middle of the room with an octopus in it. If you speak or sing quietly, it may swim toward you and change color!
