The most impressive ingredient is the pâté. It’s sweet, salty, flavorful, soft, smooth, greasy, and addictive. I’m sure that you cannot find it anywhere else!. How about the price? Good news for you is that you don’t need to go bankrupt to eat well since the price of this tasty baguette is just 13,0000 VND (0.6 USD)! The owners are super friendly, so if you want extra pâté, just tell them!I believe that many people have a love and hate relationship with this banh mi store. The baguette is sold only from 2 PM to 5 PM, and it makes me go nuts sometimes.

Best Banh Mi - Located on a busy street in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, the pâté sandwiches sold at Banh Mi Bay Ho have been winning over hearts and stomachs for nearly 90 years. With its origin derived from the French baguette, the banh mi is Vietnam’s quintessential street sandwich, combining a unique mixture of picked veggies, pâté, and various meats. Among the thousands of banh mi stalls scattered across Ho Chi Minh City, 90-year-old Banh Mi Bay Ho is easily a contender for the city’s most well-known sandwich.

If this small shop has been around for 81+ years, I think that reason alone is enough for you give it a try. "Most people know that Banh Mi didn't originate from Vietnam. French colonists brought bread and pate to Saigon, mostly to cater to French people's taste. But Vietnamese people have a way of absorbing things and make them their own"
