8-acre preservation area just outside downtown Mount Dora. It's flat and much of it is elevated right over the water. Leashed dogs are welcome. The board walk leads to wooded areas where hikers can see birds and alligators. There are covered areas, benches and picnic tables along the way. Located at 411 South Tremain Street in Mount Dora. Plenty of parking. Trail hours are daily from dawn to sunset.
