One of the smallest bars in Amsterdam; a hangout for street artists & DJs; the interior is "Dutch 17th century meets graffiti art".
Belgium beer bar. Great ambiance in a busy spot if you can find a space inside. It is tiny, which makes the atmosphere all the better.... If you like Belgium beer, you'll like Belgique.
With just a few tables and a handful of barstools, this bar may be tiny, but it packs a lot of character into its diminutive space. Walls are decorated floor-to-ceiling with a mix of beer posters and racy street art; at the small wood bar, eight curving brass taps dispense top-notch Belgian-style draughts like La Chouffe and La Trappe. Around 50 specialty beers are also available by the bottle, many of them rare craft brews. During evenings, the bar even manages to squeeze in a DJ, who spins funky old-school jazz.

Pull up a stool at the carved wooden bar and pick from the glinting brass taps. It's all about Belgian beers here, as you may have surmised. Eight flow from the spouts, and 30 or so more are available in bottles. The ambience is quintessential gezellig (convivial, cosy) and draws lots of chilled-out locals. There's live music and DJs some nights.
