Known mostly by local, this shop is a fresh find! The owner is more like a curator. She used to be a designer for Levi Strausse before opening her own place. An elegant, clean mix of new and gentle vintage & one of a kind pieces. While not overly trendy, her curation captures a relevant vein of Oakland style. The shop is a 10 minute walk from here on Grand Avenue just before Broadway. It also happens to be located just doors down from Farley's coffee house/magazine market (we suggest you try their marvelous mocha before popping into Own n Wood!)
