Nice walk along side north coast were salt pans are located. You can start you walk/bike ride at Marsalforn and finish it at Gharb. There are also two nice places for swim Xwejni Bay or Wield Il-Ghasri.

as old as mankind, salt has always been in high demand and the locals had no shortage of it thanks to these saltpans which are still being used .
