This enchanting forest has become a must-visit destination for our family, and we can't wait to share our experience with you! Getting to Cathedral Grove is easy, and the journey itself is part of the adventure. The drive from Parksville was incredibly scenic, with winding roads that took us through picturesque mountain ranges and charming small towns. As we got closer to Cathedral Grove, the anticipation grew, and we could hardly wait to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty that awaited us. Upon arriving at Cathedral Grove, we were greeted by a stunning canopy of ancient trees that seemed to touch the sky. One of the highlights of our visit was the Cathedral Grove itself, a designated area within the forest where the trees are even more ancient and majestic. This is where we truly felt like we were standing in a natural cathedral, surrounded by towering pillars of wood that seemed to reach for the heavens. This old growth forest is well worth the trip. Immerse yourself in the ancient standing people of Vancouver Island. Go early to avoid crowds.
