A laid back private club (membership is only $1) Right on the river by the railroad tracks. Live music, beer & cocktails. Some covered seating but mostly outdoors. They have a rotating food truck schedule on most nights and will usually have a fire going in the fire pit.

The Bywater is pure Asheville. Bring your dog, get some food from a food truck and sit by the French Broad River with a unique cocktail. You do need to be a member, but you can buy a membership at the door for a minimal price.

#1 bar in Asheville a few years running. Primarily a warm-weather bar - they've made the outside like a beer-friendly national park! Check it out if you have a chance. Live music often, too.

The coolest place to drink, enjoy the outside and see live music after tubing or kayaking the French Broad River.
