The Barn is popular with walkers, cyclists and for those who are looking for a peaceful get away. The barn has been converted to a very high standard offering home from home comfort all year round. The River Culm is just a stone's throw away offering breathtaking river and country walks right on your doorstep.

Otters Holt: Dog friendly loft in converted barn
Unwind in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Set within a wing of this historic medieval stone Manor House, Otters Holt at Chipley Escapes is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance and staircase. The two bedroom apartment is furnished to a high standard and includes log burner, Smart TV and a well equipped kitchen comprising oven and grill, induction hob and fridge. The dining table converts to a workstation and the contemporary bathroom has a large walk-in shower.

Old Parlour: Dog-lover’s peaceful/private caravan
Our static caravan is situated in the old parlour of our 16th Century home. Surrounded by beautiful views and countryside- it is quiet, private and rural. We are a little ‘off-grid’ - perfect place to read, see dark skies full of stars, have starlings swoop overhead and sleep in total peace. We are very dog and family-friendly here too- pets are allowed inside, there’s a private garden and access to a fully enclosed paddock to run around in off-lead/play footie. Kids are free to roam!

Local amenities are a short journey away, the closest beach is a short drive. We are perfectly location to explore the great outdoors.

It is in a tucked away location yet very close to the centre of Cullompton and amenities, including shops, bars, restaurants, bus routes and only a few minutes drive from the motorway. Only 5 mins drive from Upton Barn Wedding Venue! There is also easy access to the East Devon coastline, Dartmoor, Exmoor, East Devon AONB, Blackdown Hills, Exeter and much more.

Our Guest Suite is a private annex with its own access situated in beautiful Mid Devon, where you can come and go as you please. Guests are welcome to enjoy the comforts and facilities provided within peaceful and quiet surroundings backing onto open countryside.This includes safe parking and secure bicycle storage. A continental breakfast is provided too. We have recently installed a EV charger for you to use at at a small cost, relax whilst your EV is charging.

The Cider Barn - a perfect place for two
Many years ago, this barn was used to press the apples from the farm's orchards to make cider. Now, thoughtful and creative restoration has turned it into a very special place for two, peacefully situated on our family-run organic dairy farm. Sitting high above the Culm Valley it has stunning views of our farm and the surrounding countryside and is perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful north & south coast, Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks. Exeter 10 miles.

Beautifully converted barn with stunning views on the edge of Exmoor. Finished to a high standard throughout and in a perfect position to explore the national park, Somerset and Devon. Swallow Barn is within walking distance of Haddon Hill and is conveniently located for the pretty towns of Dulverton, Bampton and Wivliescombe with Exeter and Taunton a little further afield. Endless walking on exmoor and both the north and south coast beaches to visit.

This cosy, spacious apartment forms part of The Old Butchers - a large property home to an arts and crafts studio. We are located in the heart of Uffculme, a pretty village with a pub, a café, fish and chip bar and two local shops. The area is great for dog walking, hiking, fishing and cycling with the river Culm close by. Uffculme is close to M5 junction 27 and mid distance between Exeter and Taunton with a nearby rail link at Tiverton Parkway.

The Roost in the Blackdowns
The Roost is a modern self-contained loft with secure garage underneath, bordering pasture farmland. This peaceful small hamlet is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty without street lighting and with stunning views across the picturesque Culm Valley. There are country walks from your door, with pubs nearby. Dogs are welcome, but remembering that sheep and cows need to live in peace in the field right next door.
